Who we are

Local Spotlight is a platform operated by HelpSideApp LLC. It provides local businesses with branded pages, tap-and-scan cards, customer contact tools and analytics. This policy explains what information we collect from businesses and from their customers, and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Business account information: business or individual name, contact name, email address, phone number, billing address and subscription details.
• Customer contact information: name, mobile phone number and, optionally, email address submitted through an opt-in form or a business's page.
• SMS consent records: whether the SMS consent box was checked, the exact date and time, the wording agreed to, and the business or location the consent relates to.
• Usage information: page visits, button taps, card taps and QR scans, used to produce analytics for the business.
• Payment information: handled by our payment processor. We never store full card details.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the platform, to deliver the pages and links customers open, to provide analytics to the business, to handle billing and support, and — only where explicit consent was given — to send SMS messages such as customer follow-ups, customer-service communications, feedback and review requests, and other relevant business communications.

SMS opt-in data and third parties

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform (for example our messaging carrier and our payment processor), and only to the extent needed to deliver the service, or where required by law.

• Message and data rates may apply.
• Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.

Your choices

You can withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any message or by using the unsubscribe link we provide. You may also contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to request its correction or deletion.

Data retention and security

We keep consent records for as long as required to demonstrate compliance, and other information for as long as an account remains active. Access is restricted, and each business can only see data belonging to its own account.
